I need to learn german’s basics words and pronounceation by a week before a test by M.O.E.i would appreciae if i could find a place near my house.
Immersion is the best way to learn, If you don’t want to move to Germany, and have no German friends you can room with, audio courses are the next best thing.
There’s a really good site from Radio Deutsche Welle
http://www.dw-world.de/dw/0,1595,2548,00.html
It’s a site with High Quality MP3 recordings and PDF documents of written work to learn the written language. There are several levels from Beginner to Professional. And best of all, it’s free.
have fun.

Hi,
I hope somebody can help me:
I would like to know if somewhere in the US are offered Intensive german language courses.
So far I haven’t found information about it in the Internet. Just the Goethe-Institutes are offering "intensive" courses of 12 hours per week. But that’s not realy intensive. I look for courses of around 30 lessons per week and a duration of at least 4 weeks. I have no possibility to go to Germany to take some courses.
Can anyone help me??
Thanks,
Sergio
Here’s one that I know of: http://www.outreach.psu.edu/programs/language-institute/
The courses meet for 4 1/2 hours per day for eight weeks.

Which product should I purchase and why? Or is there something better that one would recomend?
I’m using Rosetta Stone for Spanish, and I really like it!
I have never used rocket german so I can say.
After I finish with Spanish I will be getting it in German!
Good Luck! German is a fun language.
