Where can I find German Language course for beginners?

I need to learn german’s basics words and pronounceation by a week before a test by M.O.E.i would appreciae if i could find a place near my house.

Immersion is the best way to learn, If you don’t want to move to Germany, and have no German friends you can room with, audio courses are the next best thing.

Intensive german language course in US?

Hi,
I hope somebody can help me:
I would like to know if somewhere in the US are offered Intensive german language courses.
So far I haven’t found information about it in the Internet. Just the Goethe-Institutes are offering "intensive" courses of 12 hours per week. But that’s not realy intensive. I look for courses of around 30 lessons per week and a duration of at least 4 weeks. I have no possibility to go to Germany to take some courses.
Can anyone help me??

The courses meet for 4 1/2 hours per day for eight weeks.

How much would it cost to live in germany and take a german language course over a period of 3 months?

If you have experience or know good course companies then include that info.

My answer is a little bit facetious but true.
I had a friend/colleague whose son got a job in Germany for a year,found a girl friend with a flat with spare room, move in and was speaking 90% good German in a year without a formal course. Pillow talk??
